FRIENDS OF JCC BUDAPEST, Inc. exists to strengthen the Jewish Community Center of Budapest through community gatherings, cultural programs and educational opportunities. We bring neighbors together, we preserve a living heritage, and we give every learner a seat at the table — from first grade to lifelong study. Every program we run is built on the belief that when people gather, they grow. We welcome newcomers with open arms, honor the traditions that shaped us, and invest in the education of the next generation. Whatever brings you here, there is a place for you in this community.

Membership is open to everyone. Simply reach out through our contact page or attend any listed event, and our team will walk you through the short sign up process and welcome you into the community.
Donations directly fund scholarships, camp programs, cultural events and facility improvements. We publish a transparent annual report so you can see exactly how every contribution is put to work.
Yes. Most events are open to everyone, members and guests alike. A small number of programs may be limited to members for capacity reasons, and those are clearly marked on the calendar.
We welcome volunteers of every skill level. Send us a note through the contact form, tell us what you enjoy doing, and we will match you with an opportunity that fits your schedule and talents.
